Leon Wyden Named Frostburg State Vice President of Administration and Finance

Frostburg State University President Ronald Nowaczyk has named Leon Wyden, CPA, as FSU’s new vice president of Administration and Finance.

Wyden comes to FSU from University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio, and brings experience working in financial management positions in higher education, in the manufacturing and supply industries and in financial auditing. In these varied fields, he gained experience in strategic planning as well as in process, systems and operations analysis.

“I was impressed with the breadth of Mr. Wyden’s experience, as well as his ability to collaborate across disciplines,” said FSU President Ronald Nowaczyk. “I welcome him to the Frostburg team and look forward to his leadership of the important functions of the Division of Administration and Finance.”

The division of Administration and Finance encompasses 21 departments, which include all of the University’s financial departments and those departments overseeing the campus physical plant, as well as Information Technology, the University Store, Conferences and Events, University Police and Athletics.
