Every semester, students majoring in the department have the opportunity to get outside of the classroom and into the field, an essential component of a geographic education.

Study Abroad in the UK!
Our department actively participates in the direct exchange relationship with Northumbria University in Newcastle, England.
Northumbria University is located in the heart of Newcastle, a vibrant city in northeast England. The Northumbria region is home to dramatic upland and coastal landscapes and many historic sites (such as Hadrian's Wall and Bamburgh Castle).
